1988 to Present - Pro Plus,

Design Supervisor
Responsibilities:
Coordination of design/drafting team between clients, project
managers, engineers and other
3rd party contractors.
Meet with clients to discuss scope of work, design criteria
and gather other information
necessary to produce required drawing packages and or permits.
Upon completion of
construction, visit job site, "as-built" facilities,
obtain fabrication and inspection notes
necessary to produce drawing packages.
Evaluate, recommend and install Cad workstations and hardware
and software for engineering and administration as necessary
for operations.
Typical Projects Completed:
Cad drafting services for the production of two-(2) system
map books for a Client's West
Texas gas gathering system and Gulf Coast gas gathering system,
which included South Texas. Scope of work included: Digitizing
alignment sheets, well pads, producer lines, compressor stations,
processing facilities and major interconnects.
A digitized quad sheet with latitude and longitude coordinates,
major roadways and other
pertinent topography was used as a background.
System map books were distributed to field personnel and engineering
staff for easily locating pipelines and facilities and for
future planned projects.
Design and CADD drafting for construction and as-built drawing
packages for an oil & gas
gathering, production, and processing facilities located within
the United States Forestry
Service. Scope of work included: various pipeline routings
(sizes ranging from 3" to 12");
wellhead sites; piping manifolds, tie-ins, and metering facilities.
Surveys of all processing
facilities and wellhead sites were performed as well.
Design and CADD drafting services for the construction of
a top and bottom terminal product
loading facility. Scope of work included: layout of loading
facilities with appropriate metering,
electrical/automation, fire protection, concrete canopy, drive
aprons, and underground product flowlines from storage tanks
with secondary containment for loading racks and dispensers.
CADD drafting for as-built drawing packages for the addition
of a four skid, 3000 HP Centaur
compressor. Scope of work included: on-site field drawings
during installation of compressor,
upgrades to 12" inlet & discharge headers, and upgrades
to existing 10" & 12" plant metering facilities.
Ongoing design and drafting services for fabrication drawings
of co-polymer polypropylene,
rigid drop-in tank liners used in corrosive chemical environments
such as hot dip galvanizing
and acid bathing. Typical tank liners support temperatures
to 2000F and custom liners to 6000F. Free-standing polypropylene
tanks and steel tank frames are also part of this scope.
1987 to 1988 - Monarch Construction,
Inc.
Pipeline Construction Laborer:
Worked in pipe gang and firing line during the construction
of
a natural gas gathering, metering, and transmission pipeline.
Worked with fabrication welder
during all tie-ins and misc. piping fabrications. Also inspected
pipe during loading, unloading,
and lowering in.
