Description: Engineering design and CADD drafting services for an environmental program
associated with various property improvement projects at approximately 70 store locations in
10 states. Typical environmental related work includes: the oil/water separation system; the
wash area reclaim system; disposal procedures for used oil filters, used oil, and other
hydrocarbon waste products; preparation of a standard store operations manual for
environmental compliant housekeeping practices; regulatory assessment and recommended
management program for on-site storage of hydrocarbon products; and, preparation and
acquisition of air emissions permits associated with the on-site sand blasting and painting
of rental equipment.

Preparation of a comprehensive survey of the federal and state regulations, national and
state fire codes and various industry standards that effect the installation and operation of
underground and aboveground motor fuel storage tanks in 10 states.

Preparation of a complete underground storage tank (UST) management program including
design, operations and maintenance to meet current regulations.

Contributed to a client policy manual for implementation of the state and federal underground
storage tank regulation requirements for release detection.

Prepared the spill control and containment system design philosophy which defined the
various spill control areas of the client's facilities and the design considerations at each.

Preparation of client procedures associated with the operation and maintenance of the
completed property improvements including the equipment wash and the hydrocarbon
storage tank areas.

Location: Worldwide
Description: Development and presentation of a pollution control training program module
for first line supervisors at marketing petroleum product terminals. Primary focus of the
program covered the control of air and water pollution. The primary potential for release of
hydrocarbon vapors to the atmosphere is at the storage tank farm and at the tank truck loading facility. The control of oil pollution involved the separation and individual management of permanent oil bearing flows, intermittent oil bearing flows, and oil free flows to eliminate
potential contamination of the environment.

Northwest Airlines, Inc.
Location: Michigan
Description: Design and CADD drafting services for the permit acquisition, construction
documents and on-site inspection for the tie-in to an existing sanitary sewer system from an
existing oil/water separator. In addition, storm water collected in the Jet A tank farm is to be
routed to state waters through an "oil-stop" system.

EMANCO, Inc.
Location: Arizona
Description: Technical review and comment on state issued construction stipulations for
pipeline hydrostatic test water discharge for the planned Enron-Transwestern Pipeline
expansion.

Patrick D. Mahoney, P.C.
Location: Texas
Description: Management and client representative services for the removal of a motor fuel
underground storage tank and site clean up. Technical assistance was also provided in the
preparation and filing of the tank removal and disposal report with the Texas Water Commission.

Department of Veterans Affairs
Location: Texas
Description: Technical coordination, witnessing and certification of the annual tightness
integrity tests for gasoline and diesel underground storage tanks per EPA and NFPA criteria.

Gulf Resources Corporation
Location: Texas
Description: Preparation of Form PI-7, submission and permit acquisition from the Texas Air
Control Board for the Solano Amine Unit.
