product from the point of receipt, through the storage tanks,
to the pumping station, then to
the tank car or tank truck loading positions, the egress from
the terminal. The impact of
environmental, fire protection, security, and automation considerations
on design and
operations is included in the program.
Update of existing Marketing Engineering Guides for the design
and, separately, for the

facility design and operation
that will permit safe, efficient handling of butane, propane,
and their mixes.
Development of grassroots individual Marketing Engineering
Guides including design,
materials, installation and testing for marketing terminals:
• Fire protection facilities.
• Petroleum product atmospheric storage tanks.
